Over the years, the School’s Book Club has successfully read, reviewed and engaged with many quality books; each one provoking discussion, broadening horizons, and (re)-igniting the love of reading.

We are excited to announce that going forward our Book Club will be called:

READ TO LEAD BOOK CLUB

OR Tambo School Book Club is part of the school’s political education massification project. By encouraging a culture of reading and debate, it primarily seeks to deepen understanding of a progressive outlook about the type of country and world we should strive for.

As a membership-based initiative, OR Tambo School Book Club prescribes a new read every two months, hosts live and virtual book review sessions where a selected book or writing of the month is reviewed and discussed and has competitions for written reviews.

Membership is open to all members of the public who submit an application for consideration.
